Jimmy Offesson on BOATS & On Air

First she said. Wait. It was her transmitted voice that said. Don’t remember exactly what. Casually formatted information about menstrual cups, foxes and a wise dad that sometimes was stupid. Obvously, he had a red face, red hair, the eyes are blue though, but you can never really know, can you?, when it’s radio. A stream of words, almost as verbal inside my head as they materialise from their breath. Into a circle of microphones. I’m prying on four little girls having a tea party.

Dressed only in skin colored briefs, is he a pantaloon?

Lumpy Bumby Balloon

A contemporary pantaloon?

They tipped over eachother. Sometimes even grouted into one another. They did it just outside the dome. A radioactive future casts a shadow upon the now. A medical fact that the observers seemed to laugh even more now. Or maybe spitting out some sort of psychological waste, and somehow, recycling times and trends. As globetrotters, or an upscaled pandemic, going around the dome, these four bodies acting as one, representing many, gradually mutating, borrowing different movement capabilities from animals and insects.

Off he go, jumps and runs, skillful as a dragoon.

Lumpy Bumpy Balloon

For sure, he must be a contemporary dragoon?

The hydroponic radio theatre ends in a cheerful song fueled by the vibrations from naked bodies. A future once imagined in the 60’s is called upon once again. Some seeds, metaphorically speaking of course, were planted, might even be a plant someday. Ideologically speaking, of course, off course, I think. I’m touched. Or is this that plant? Cultivated, cultivated, cultivated… a cult activated? Anyhow, here it comes again, those beautiful imageries, overlapping eachother, like a video effect, four women, a sad drag, air going in and out, through lungs, into a balloon, into a plastic dome, back and forth in our mind, something is retold, needs to be retold, retold…

Lumpy Bumpy Balloon

Such a sad face, with a white wig from an emo cartoon.

Lumpy Bumpy Balloon

With no words, have you said it all?
